Dr Gazal Bharara is the visionary founder and director of DrWellbeing. Holding a doctorate, she specializes in child and adolescent wellbeing and possesses a profound understanding of children’s behavior dynamics. With a multifaceted career spanning roles as a school psychologist, counsellor, trainer, and researcher, Dr Gazal brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for empowering young individuals to reach their full potential. Her extensive background also includes roles as a motivational coach, and special educator, contributing to her comprehensive approach to personal development and wellbeing.
Over a decade of collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including school professionals, organizations, and families, coupled with her PhD and rich experience, provides her with unique insights into enhancing the wellbeing of young individuals. Skilled at consulting, professional speaking, strategic training, assessments, policy advising, and the development of impactful comprehensive programs—with a focus on wellbeing education, positive school transitions, and stress management—Dr Gazal is a versatile specialist significantly empowering individuals and organizations across various sectors, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Dr Gazal’s past experience as a school and counselling psychologist has seen her provide a broad spectrum of psychological services, benefiting a wide array of clients, particularly school leaders, families, and teachers. Her evidence-based interventions and programs have demonstrated remarkable success in boosting confidence, alleviating stress, and enhancing overall wellbeing. She adeptly trains educators and parents in managing challenging behaviours, with notable expertise in special education, including managing ADHD and Learning Disabilities.
Transitioning to her current endeavours, she leverages her wealth of experience to inform a comprehensive approach, uniquely positioning her to contribute to her mission. As a published author with research featured in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and a recipient of numerous awards, she is dedicated to advancing positive practices within DrWellbeing’s global framework. Dr Gazal is a registered member of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association, underscoring her commitment to this mission.
